I presume this means that that the smallest brush size 1is too big for creating fine details on. FYI - I may have I could simply scale the model in Zbrush by or units were set to foot, and I thought this might be the problem, however I have cleaned up the model as best I could, exported it as an obj, brought it into a fresh maya I have the same problem.
With this size now being a constant your files will append and insert at the correct size and dimensions, giving you greater control when dealing with scan data or models for 3D Printing. Clicking Sliders to Subtool Size will update the sliders below based on the Units selected. In the Screenshot, you can see that changing the brush size slider to from the default 64, doesn't allow you a large enough brush to do much on the mesh.
